Split. Share. Serve!

Run a colourful café by moving the maths yourself. Choose equal parts, swipe the cutter, then drag the labelled pieces to your pals. Every part shows its value, and every share changes the total in front of you.

Smoothie Pals is hands-on practice for GCSE Foundation ratio and proportion, with animated characters, tactile pieces, pouring, pack slicing and a worked receipt for every completed order.

Five café stations

  • Share counter: cut cash into equal valued pieces and build the requested ratio.
  • Pay Day: tackle three-way shares, a known share and a known difference.
  • Recipe station: split a recipe into single-person portions, scale it for a new party and work out which cupboard ingredient runs out first.
  • Smoothie lab: mix quantities, convert units and regroup both sides into the simplest ratio.
  • Market: build unit prices and slice different-sized packs into equal comparison portions to find the best buy.

A café that grows with you

Play 25 shifts with three substantial orders each, or choose any station and challenge level in Free play. The later problems include money to the penny, reverse ratios, mixed units, non-integer scale factors and limiting ingredients.

Ordinary shifts have no timer. Optional Rush Hour gives you two minutes and adds four seconds for an independent order. Earn café coins by serving customers and spend them on colour themes.

Built for hands-on play

Swipe or tap the cutter. Drag pieces to a pal or bowl, or select a piece and tap its destination. Hold to repeat a transfer, carry one or five pieces at a time, and undo to try another construction.

Use Tab and Enter for keyboard controls, U to undo, H for a hint and M to toggle sound. With a piece selected, 1, 2 or 3 chooses a pal. Music, sound, calm motion, easy-read text and read-aloud options are in Settings.

Hints and demonstrations are available. The progress report distinguishes guided work from independent orders. Progress saves in this browser; clearing site data can remove it. Earlier-version progress is stored separately.

Free browser play. No account or real-money purchases needed.
